Newborn twins brought about a whole new challenge in my studio - getting one baby to sleep through a session is hard enough, and two?  Well that was basically impossible.  They are beautiful little boys though, with beautiful mommies who shower them with love.

Since I haven't updated ANYTHING from 2012, I'm going to slowly but surely show you guys what I've been up to this year. 

It's been an interesting one - I've still been working in my studio, but was accepted into graduate school at Savannah College of Art and Design, so in less than a week I'm packing my bags and heading to Georgia!  This is an awesome career move for me, but it means closing down the studio. I'm still keeping my DBA, and will definitely still be shooting, I just won't have my studio space anymore, which is extremely bittersweet for me. 

Anyway, to get started, here's what I did today :)  Meet Ethan, he's 10 days old.  I photographed his big brother Calvin (also pictured) when he was 6 months old and did mom's maternity pictures a couple of months ago.

Baby Aubrey

 I did mom's maternity pictures not too long ago - I couldn't wait to meet this little one!  She was awake and alert for the whole session, but was just the sweetest little angel.  Meet Aubrey :)

Caleb

My last senior portrait of the season...it's always a little sad when this time rolls around, I thrive on the hustle and bustle.  But alas, Caleb was a great way to go out.

Baby Ali

Meet Baby Ali.  She was two weeks old at the time of the shoot and was an absolute angel!  She did lots of sleeping, debunking the theory that babies can't sleep in my studio.  (Thanks goodness!)  I was actually supposed to do Mom's maternity pictures, but Ali decided she couldn't wait to join the world and Mom went into labor the night before our shoot!  Well worth it, cause here she is :)
